The rooms are spacious with two comfortable beds, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Location in the heart of the city was a plus.

I had to spend 2 nights at Solarium in Barcelona, it has an excellent location in Carrer de Guardia from Carrer de Nou in Las Ramblas. The place is very well secured, you get a key for the building, a key for the floor door and a key for your room. WiFi is free and all over the place, even though signal was pretty weak in my room, I had to sit in the hallway to use it :) Staff are very friendly, only the manager speaks English, they helped me with my bags which were too big and heavy ( I was in Europe for over a month ) they carried it to the 3rd floor where my room was. There is actually housekeeping, I found my room very clean every morning. Furniture is not old and the room is nicely furnished. Finally, I recommend this Pension to budget travelers who are looking for a good value of money and do not mind using a shared bathroom.

They don't have soap or cleaning gel so make sure to bring out yours. I recommend to use your own towels. Bathrooms are shared, some rooms have private bathrooms at higher prices, you can pay the supplement and change on the spot if available. Despite the great location very near to Las Ramblas, it was a very narrow street, people in the apartments opposite to me could look into my room as long as my window is open. There is a bar directly facing the building which is too noisy at night !! In the morning women talking loudly and laughing in the street can really wake you up! If someone decides to play music in his house its a disaster! To avoid all this, ask for a room with a back view, not very pleasant view but quiet enough to have a good night sleep.

30 Euro per night for this hotel is so expensive, the rooms are so small and hot and smelly. you can not breathe easily in the room at the summer

The twin room had all the basic facilities necessary for a comfortable stay.

It is located near to Las Ramblas. It was reasonably cheap for its locality. It was clean.

As a solo female traveller, I was uncomfortable with the positioning of accommodation, as it is down a lane, which was often frequented with various men attempting to sell beer or strike up a conversation. The room I was in had a smashed window, which has the shattered glass still in it and it was not covered up for safety reasons. The noise level from outside was constant, regardless of the time. The wifi that is advertised is only in certain parts of the building, so you cannot just sit in your room and use it. Taxi drivers struggled to find accommodation as it is in a back street.

This place is perfect for a visit with its excellent location in the very center, good services, pleasant and exceptional staff, and a huge variety of options with excellent food.

Location is good, few minutes from Drassanes Metro station. Room is fine.

Bed is not comfortable. The staff cannot speak English we took an hour to find the hotel because the staff couldn't describe the direction to us on phone. Although he is very friendly he still need to improve his English.

The breakfast had a great variety of delicious food, and the room was spacious, bright, and had a private bathroom.

The room was affordable, clean, and had twin beds, and the service was great, had a fantastic stay.

This is a great hotel to experience Barcelona. Great and helpful staff and the room was cleaned everyday. You are walking distance from La Rambla and the Port with a Metro station 2 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again.
